Russian airlines’ traffic to reach 94–96 mln people in 2022
MOSCOW, Nov 30 (PRIME) -- The passenger traffic of Russian airlines in 2022 will reach only 94–96 million people out of the planned 100 million people, Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev said on Wednesday at a government meeting chaired by President Vladimir Putin.
“We planned to carry 100 million passengers this year … the local air routes to account for 90 million passengers and … the international routes to 10 million passengers,” he said, adding that the current plan amounts to 94–96 million passengers.
The latest information shows that Russian airlines have transported 87 million people as of today since the beginning of the year, he also said.
